Asinara Safari 4x4
Discover the Asinara Park in a 4x4 off-road vehicle
The excursion will start from the port of Stintino. With our dinghies we will be able to reach the Fornelli pier, located on the south coast of the Asinara island, in less than 15 minutes.
Disembarked in the Park we will move around in a comfortable 23-seat minibus, equipped with four-wheel drive and air conditioning.
On board the presence of the Park's exclusive Guide who will explain the history, flora and fauna of this ancient and fascinating territory. We will move from south to north on the only cemented road making stops at points of historical, cultural and environmental interest.
In the village of Cala d'Oliva we will visit the Central Branch, a former penitentiary branch that in the past housed ordinary prisoners.
Today it has become the Museo alla Memoria, which aims to restore dignity to the life of the former inmates and to the work they have done for Asinara.
After the visit, we will continue along a dirt road that will lead us to the beautiful beach of Cala Sabina (Cala dei Ponzesi) for a swim break and a packed lunch (not provided). Finally, we will go back along the road to return to Stintino by mid-afternoon.
